I’m a freelance web designer, front-end developer and WordPress guru based the UK. I’m born, raised and still living in Barnsley, South Yorkshire where I work from my home office providing services for clients worldwide.
How did I get here?
Well, that’s a long story – but I’ll try to condense it for you. My interest in computers and the internet began when we bought our first family PC (56K modem, the works!). The internet was just getting warmed up, I was discovering interesting websites and I wanted to make my own.
I always excelled in computer and art based subjects throughout my education, obtaining ICT and Computing A Levels at Barnsley College. I went on to study Multimedia and Communication Design (specialising in web) at Sheffield Hallam University, from where I graduated with a 2:1 degree in 2009.
After graduating, I started up my own freelance business providing web design, front-end and WordPress development services for clients throughout the UK and beyond. I work largely with design agencies, assisting on their projects and I also take on my own clients ranging from local traders to international businesses.
A little more about me
Many of my skills are self taught and I thrive on learning new things, so the fast paced nature of the web industry suits me down to the ground. I love what I do and I think this is reflected in the quality of service I provide to my clients.
Away from the office, my interests include football (Barnsley fan, Arsenal admirer), music (I’m learning bass) and poker (Texas hold ‘em). Random facts: I have two labradors named Max and Paddy, I want to travel North America in the not so distant future and I would one day like to write a book.
Want to work together?
